currrently BLR is at 6.75%

The latest launched package from OCBC is Whole Tenure BLR - 1.25% at free moving cost. It applies for under construction , completed and refinance property.

The BLR rates is reducing due to global economy crisis. Nowadays, BLR hit the lower point ~5.55% and mortgage package up to BLR - 2.3%. It's really good package for mortgage loans. salute

Public Bank Home Loan Packages
(Updated May 2010)

For Completed & Uncompleted Properties
BLR – 1.8% p.a (BLR currently @ 6.05%)
Margin of financing up to 95% (include MRTA & legal fees)
Tenure up to 40 years or age 70
Lock in period 3 years & Early settlement fees of 2%

As I know the best rate is BLR minus for below 100k.
