Cucu, concur...was hoping for some Bursa kakis like RightM to spice things up here....it's been too quiet.

Just know that Jerneh climbs on a possible corporate deal on its insurance business.

This weekend not free. Maybe next week?

rightmentality.......i somehow cannot believe if one is actively involved into the prop game, he/she could well afford to pay cash for all his/her props.......we are talking bout big huge amount of money involved. some of our dear forummers are buying like 3 or 5 units in a year, then next year maybe another 2 or 3, then another year 1 or 2 units........anjua pay cash to sapu ??? scratch doesn't it make sense to get help from the banks??? honestly, i would run to the banks for help... :D

Cash purchase is meant for parang buy and also completed properties. Undercon properties with dibs scheme it does not make sense at all to buy cash. Even if without dibs scheme its also not logical to pay cash.

Cblau: correct, cash purchase always parang the completed properties. No point to go to development projects because of unforseen factors. Furthermore, properties got angin wan, where got time to wait for CF?

Cucu: different people got different style.

cmy: i might disappoint you. I only play the following counters:

Berjaya Toto
Genting
Genting M
IOI
Sapcrest/Kencana

When they up, I sell. When they are down, I buy. So far so good except Berjaya Toto.

That is my motto also. I buy stock, I buy property, I played Dual Currency Investment, I invest in private company, .. as long as making money. As long as I know the game, I put in money.

BY the way, why you like AirAsia? It never give dividend, share always around there. What is the excitement about this counter? salute

I really dunno how far AirAsia can go... it claimed that it is a low cost flight... in fact, izzit really cheaper than MAS? I dont think so. Sometimes, the cost is almost similar like MAS....

Ya, but IOI has been stagnant at this levels for long.. Plus, the Tan Sri is buying his own counter... So, I also buy lor.

:D I sold most of my genting at 7.05 levels and used the fund to buy Berjaya Toto and IOI. Sigh, IOI still got hope because the owner buy his own company. Usually, this is good signal. Berjaya Toto become a nightmare - even it gave tax free dividend recently.

Public bank needs patience. It is a good counter and graduately goes up.

Measat has break 4.00. I bought it at 2.78, sold below 3.00, what a waste, never expect it to move up so agressive.

Mahsing start to move too, today close at 1.84...

Ya, I have faith in this Tan Sri.

Actually, I traded 5 rounds since Jun 2009 for this counter. First round it was below 4.5, I bought and sold all at 4.90. Always buy low and sell hight. Then, the price was between 4.5 and 5, I bought again and sold at about 5.28 around Feb 2010. In May and Jun this year, it dropped below 5 and I bought again. Now, waiting to sell.

For IOI, if you buy and keep, you lose the opportunity cost. This is a trading stock.

Never look back, you never know the peak. As long as you sold and you reinvest your money, you are okay. Some more, you make a profit wat. :D

For myself, I accumulated a lot Genting. Last year, it went up above 7 and I did not sell. This round, at 7.05, I quickily sold and waited for it to drop. Now, it went up to 7.80. Not my luck. Anyway, my average cost for the earlier batch was 5.17 and recent one was 6.50. Have to be satisfied with the profit. toothy10

You see, when i buy properties, i look at good areas like mont kiara, penang, PJ. So, when i buy shares, of course i buy Genting, PBB, IOI Corp lah. Some of our property taikor are different. When they buy properties, they talked about klcc, mont kiara, DPC, but when they buy stocks, they choose kenmark, omega, transmile,... toothy10

All because of La Nina phenomenon and expected high demand from India and Pakistan for the coming Ramadhan.

Having said this, I still shy away from Bursa for the time being. Too bullish for my liking.
