err copy your files and the activity might be picked up in network or application-level logs.. depending on where and how your files are stored.. but chances are, no one will read the logs..  or if they are reviewed, just a signing exercise...

yes i work with a lot of banks here and they've got tonnes of monitoring software and stuff whereby they remotely control what each desktop can or cannot do. like disabling of all USB drives so you can't even copy if you wanted to.
a red flag will be raised if u do something very unusual like file copy really large stuff...but if it looks like something that is done day in day out...don't think they will realize.
as for demo software its not IP address.... its the clock on your desktop plus a registry value in your Windows. So if you know which Registry property to modify you will be able to crack it. but if you just need to use the software temporarily, turn back the clock on your Windows and it should work. if your date falls within the demo period it should still work...
alternatively look for a crack on the internet. becareful since a lot of the cracks and keygens are trojan horses and will infect your PC once you run it. |

The demo software is clever, everytime i change the PC date, it reduces one day of free trial. No way i can cheat the software by changing time, it makes it worse.
The software actually save a randomly named file in the PC to monitor all these. The only way is to get rid of this secret file in the PC.
