I am taking up their package. some view it as expensive but I rather them hacking the wall and later re-do it nicely, then I do it myself. If anything not done right, I can still complain. If I do it myself, I can only later. _________________ Opinion is like an ASSHOLE, everyone has one. But some smell............. |

Those additional items are quite minor and if I were to do those on my own, definitely cheaper. These items are quite easy to add and sap sap sui for an electrician. Each additional point costs around RM15 to RM20 only. |

boss, cannot get 15-20 bucks a point lar... and dun forget that u have to hack and replaster and repaint the wall after that... alot of hassle, u know...
power point, lighting point and fan point would be 45-80 depending if it's loop fr the nearest point or a whole new line fr the DB... if fan point lagi kaulat, have to hack all the way fr the location of ur fan (on the ceiling) and down the wall until the switch... unless u r prepared to exposed it in trunking, else it's a big messy job adding electrical points... |

if i read this correctly, u guys are either thinking abt renting out or possibly for own-stay. good signs.. always tot that not many flippers in this camp.
additional power-points may be useful but there are lots of gadgets in the market now that can solve this. the more 'leceh' one is the air-cond piping. from my own experience :-
1. if do it on your own, no matter how you patch back the hacking, the lines can be seen sooner or later.. but at least you know where the piping was being layed.
2. concealed piping may have leakages or problems thru the condensation process, if not done right. may be under warranty, but the end is, need to hack, defeats the purpose. if there's a creative way to disguise external piping, it'll be much better solution in terms of maintenance over the long run. but this itself, is a challenge coz you need to balance a good flow to avoid deposits of any liquid form. _________________ what gets rewarded, gets repeated.. |

Boss, the last house I renovated around 2 years ago, the contractor charged me around that leh per extra power point or lighting point. I think that fella loop from nearest point one, using Indon...
Probably I added many lighting points for down lights and power points that's why so chip per point...
The hacking and replastering can be done via behind skirting area one....so no prob, for extra power points. For extra lighting points esp for many down lights, oso no prob coz you'll have plaster ceiling to conceal the wiring... |

boss, from what u explained, like that can...
for lighting point, just loop on top of plaster ceiling
and for power point, just loop fr the nearest point... and that's using indon...
what babana was asking is an additional new fan point... this one no loop loop, have to hack all the way... and if u got no plaster ceiling, u have to hack the ceiling for more lighting point also...
and if u want to add an extra power point for high consumption electrical device (eg microwave, boiler, kettle), it's not advisable to loop... have to take a new source fr the main db...
if for own stay, do properly lar... |

| Correct me if i am wrong. The "real" site appears to be smaller than what was illustrated in the sales brochure. |

Hmm... we have always been aware that the actual site is very small for the number of units constructed within it... |

Heh.. the broucher illustrated the diagonal view (north west) of the development.. of course that will being perceived as "broader" than the view of north and south..
Broucher is always a broucher.. some other development have brouchers with hill, lake, trees, greens, but turn out surrounded by sewage plant, dump site, and illegal squatters _________________ I talk only one la.. where got $$ to buy |
